Tony Hyde’s Digital Stories

I was born in Merthyr Tydfil in 1945.

My interest in photography started in 1963 at Merthyr Tydfil camera club

It was then held in Merthyr Tydfil College 

So much of Merthyr town centre area had been demolished

That I decided to photograph what was left of Georgetown before it too was demolished. 

I am still photographing the Georgetown area and parts of Merthyr as it is changing.
